BACK OF THE BUS PRODUCTIONS

The difference between a “DEMO” and a “RECORD” depends on the quality of the drums. Recording an outsdanting drum track is achieved by:
PAYING a drummer
PAYING a recording studio
PAYING an engineer

For the recording artist, that’s a lot of people that need to get paid, so the trend has so often been for producers and writers to spend hours and hours programing drums. This aproach will sound great for some genres of music. However, to use programed drums in a song where a live drum track is required will not produce a professional sounding recording, and the artist is stuck with just another “DEMO”.
I’m offering an alternative to this way of creating music.

Back of the Bus Productions is the total solution for clients who are in need of live drum tracks at an affordable price. Whether you need live drums to replace existing programmed tracks, or want live drums laid down first, Back of the Bus can accommodate your needs.
With the use of industry standard gear, the product you receive will be of the highest quality and easily transferred to a different facility or your home studio for additional tracking or mixing.

How it Works:

- You will send your song via the Internet, (or regular mail)

- I will promptly create a drum part (and/or percussion) and send back to you a ruff stereo mix with effects. (Via Internet or a CD in the mail)

- If necessary changes can be made to accomodate your requests.

- Finally I will send you eight individual tracks (AIFF, WAV, SDII) that can easily be assembled into any recording system or as a Pro Tools session.
To take advantage of my “Plug Ins” (effects) Some of my clients prefer to receive the individual tracks printed with effects. But that option is up to you.

I will also program percussion, drums, and loops if you want your music to have a certain flavor with the use of various plug-in synth’s and samplers (STYLUS, SAMPLE TANK, SONIC SYNTH etc…).

Packages are available to suit your project.

If you are planning on recording a lot of songs and do not want to use the internet for sending files, you have the option of purchasing a stand alone hard drive (fire wire drive’s are very affordable now) that all of your files can be kept on and sent to you in one shot.

Please refer to the FAQ for any specific questions about this service or give us a call at 1347-200-1800.

“Any recording artist should make sure that the word “DEMO” is never uttered with regards to their project,”

Thanks and I look forward to working with you soon!!!
